DJM Building Consultants was established by David Murphy in 1994, following the earlier formation of David Murphy and Associates in January 1992.
From the beginning, our mission has been to provide efficient and reliable building surveying services within the construction industry, whilst maintaining a fun and vibrant working environment.
Since the introduction of the new Building Act in June 1994, we have issued over 30,000 permits across a wide variety of projects.
Today, DJM remains committed to delivering a streamlined, transparent, and professional service.
Registered Building Practitioners
Our goal is to provide exceptional service through our qualified and experienced team, dedicated to supporting you with all regulatory requirements.
At DJM, all our surveyors and building inspectors are registered building practitioners with the Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC). We are also members of the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS), the leading professional body for Building Surveying practitioners in Australia.
