Building Permits are our core business, and our service has been revered in the Victorian building industry for over twenty years.
Out team of building surveyors will assist you in all regulatory matters, as well as an outstanding administration team who are experts at streamlining the Building Permit process for owners and builders.
We work with a broad range of builders including some of Victoria’s major volume builders, and are focused on both efficiency and quality. We assess and issue on average 3500 building applications a year, and we are proud of the efficient service we provide, without compromising on compliance.
We have a team of registered building inspectors that cover the whole of Victoria.
We work with many of Victoria’s largest builders and undertake over 500 inspections a week, the majority utilising our own inspectors. This allows a rapport to be built between the inspector and the builder that ensures you get the best possible service.
All building surveying companies use sub-contract inspectors to help with the overflow. To maintain efficient turnaround times, we use a trusted group of sub-contract inspectors. These inspectors are handpicked and many have previously worked for DJM, this ensures a consistent and professional approach to inspections.
The mandatory inspections required by law assess the structural integrity of your build however, there are a number of other areas that can be assessed to ensure the quality of your home.
This can include internal lock-up (plaster defects) and external lock-up (brickwork defects) inspections.
In addition to your Building Permit, we can tailor a package which includes inspections that closely monitor the finer details of the construction process.
This guarantees your satisfaction that the building has been constructed to the best practices possible.
Thanks to you and your business, we are grateful that we are able to give back to the community and to those in need.
We are honoured to continue to donate our surveying and inspection services to the annual Good Friday Appeal Charity House. It’s uplifting to know that we have helped make a difference to the lives of sick children and their families for over 10 years.
The charitable nature of employees at DJM is also evident in our quarterly ‘Dress Up For Charity Day’, on which we all don extravagant costumes and raise money for a charity that we decide on as a team.
